Become a Member

Membership of Clacton for Europe is free, and it is open to anyone in this constituency, whether in Clacton, Frinton, Walton, Holland-on-Sea, Jaywick, St Osyth or the villages between, who believes that this country's future lies closer to Europe. There is no subscription and no fee of any kind. We ask only that you put your name to us, so that when we say there are pro-European people here in real numbers, we are able to say how many.

What membership amounts to

You will hear from us first when there is a street stall to visit, a leaflet round to join, or a public meeting worth coming to. You will be counted, which is no small thing, for to be able to show the size of the pro-European vote in the most Leave-voting seat in the country is very nearly the whole purpose of this campaign. And you will be under no obligation whatever to canvass, to deliver, or to attend anything at all. Some of our members are out every weekend; others do no more than lend us their name; and we are glad of both.

Whatever you voted in 2016, and whichever party you support now, you are welcome here. If you would like to do more than lend your name, do please look at getting involved.
